“Mozart’s Confutatis Requiem” New Music Video by The Great Kat and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart! Amadeus Shredder The Great Kat brilliantly shreds metal guitar on Mozart’s genius and brutal “Confutatis” from his famous final work “Requiem”. Mozart died on Dec, 5, 1791 after composing 8 bars of the “Lacrimosa” and thinking he was composing his own requiem.
The Great Kat is the Juilliard grad Guitar/Violin Virtuoso and on this new music video she shows her brutal side shredding Mozart’s famous “Confutatis” on her Metal Guitar! The Great Kat shreds Mozart’s famous heavy metal-like riff representing “Confutatis maledictis” ("Wicked are confounded"). Then The Great Kat’s repentant soft side is shown with the “Sotto Voce” melody representing “Voca me cum benedictis” (“Call to me the blessed”). Then Mozart’s famous “Lacrimosa” has The Great Kat Shredding her Classical Violin at the cemetery in Vienna, grieving over Amadeus’ tombstone. Mozart’s beautiful melody is shredded for a stunning violin rendition of “Lacrimosa”. Mozart’s Requiem is his final masterpiece, where he tragically died after bar 8. GENIUS!
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is one of the greatest composers of all time. In 1791 Mozart was afflicted by morbid depression. Mozart was commissioned to compose the "Requiem Mass" (music for the dead) from a mysterious stranger (actually from a nobleman, who wanted to pass it off as his own work), which Mozart misinterpreted as a pronouncement of his own death. Mozart could not finish the "Requiem". On December 5, 1791, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart died after a fit of delirium and probably from uraemia. One of the greatest geniuses of all time, Mozart died a pauper and was buried in an unmarked pauper's grave in Vienna. Mozart’s “Confutatis” from “Requiem” is one of the composer's most popular pieces and one of the most famous Classical pieces of all time, heard in movies, TV, and Commercials. Today, The Great Kat Guitar/Violin virtuoso brings “Mozart’s Requiem” to the entire world with ShredClassical Guitar/Violin Virtuosity, along with piano accompaniment! Genius!
The Great Kat, Juilliard grad violin virtuoso and "Top 10 Fastest Shredders Of All Time" - Guitar One Magazine, is the famous guitar/violin virtuoso shredding famous masterpieces and bringing genius Classical music to a whole new generation with Guitar Shred and Violin Virtuosity! The Great Kat is the only guitar/violin double virtuoso since Paganini and the "Reincarnation of Beethoven"!
