On September 22, 2017, thousands of Anglophones in Cameroon took to the streets in Buea, Bamenda, Kumba, Mamfe, Muyuka, Ekona, and beyond. Their demand was simple and peaceful — English-speaking teachers for their children, and English-speaking judges for their courts. But the government of La République du Cameroun responded with military force. Lives were lost, dreams were shattered, and a generation’s cry for justice echoed across the world. Fast forward to October 15, 2025 — Francophones marched in Garoua, Maroua, Dschang, Bafoussam, and other cities to protest what they called a stolen presidential election victory of Mr. Issa Tchiroma. The army was deployed again… but not a single Francophone life was taken. This song, “We Are Not One – When the People March,” is a call for reflection and truth. It speaks for those who can no longer speak. It reminds Mr. Issa Tchiroma of his promise — to organize a referendum allowing Anglophones to decide: Do we remain in this union? Do we return to the two-state federation (1961–1972)? Or do we chart our own independent path? 🎧 Listen, share, and let the world hear our story. 🕊️ Freedom. Justice. Equality.
