Schism 21C is a reformed reboot of popular early 80’s Melbourne, Australian indie band ‘Schism’ which is today made up today of a duo from its original founding members: lead singer, theatrical frontman and major Schism songwriter Simon ‘Circus’ Rashleigh and programmer, drummer, keyboardist and producer Gordon ‘Gordo’ Graham. Directed by filmmaker Rob Wellington (best known for his film clips such as: Models - 'Big on Love' and 'Out of Mind, Out of Sight', Pseudo Echo - 'Funky Town' and John Farnham - 'You're the Voice'). Think Tank is a greatly energized post-punk-prog song that is both provocative and political, as it lyrically expresses about the corrosive effects that think tanks in the western world have on democracy. The song is delivered with a punchy synthwave sonic performance shaded with darkwave sound colorings. Think Tank as a song was written in 1982 by Simon 'Circus' Rashleigh and Peter 'Pog' German (Schism Bass player) from early 1980's alternative indie band Schism from Melbourne Australia. The Schism 21C version of 'Think Tank' used in this music video was performed by Simon 'Circus' Rashleigh and Gordon 'Gordo' Graham and recorded at Thranchilt Street Studios in Gisborne South between 2022 and 2024 with Gordon Graham as Engineer. It was later engineered, mixed and mastered at Toyland Studios in Northcote Melbourne by Adam Calaitzis in 2024. Think Tank as a single was released worldwide by Distrokid on Tuesday the 8th of October 2024. The I.P.I.G.
