The music video for Schism 21C's 'Prey / Pray' explores the hope and risks of prayer in a gothic and sci-fi setting. Here we see a young nun being pursued by a predatory priest (Gordo from Schism 21C) juxtaposed with a praying man (Simon Circus from Schism 21C) in his own hopeful prayer trance whilst channeling beings of good and bad intent. Simon is being set upon by the Demonette Astaria as well as the Angel Grace who are both vying for his soul. Meanwhile in the background a trippy surreal religious exploration unfolds with Praying Mantises who are both Preying and Praying and other insects getting into the organized religion act. Whilst this is happening, in another dimension, the skull priests are doing their ceremonial thing. Are they friendly? Are they pious? Are they our salvation or our fate? Watch and find out
