This musical suite is a celebration and tribute to my heritage and the culture of both my ancestors and modern day relatives.
The name Soucy is strongly associated with traditional French Canadian folk music (though I would be very distantly related, and have no direct affiliation).
This hybrid musical piece tries to captures the varied aspects of musical culture within French Canadian lore and modernity. Salut!
