The song fits well in trip-hop, downtempo and breakbeat playlists alongside artists from the likes of Portishead, to modern artists like Phaeleh and  Desert Dwellers. 

The track is written for anyone who's felt the degradation of the soul that occurs when one's reality is rejected. The beat is a call  response with the vocalist chatting as a therapist would a desperate patient. The song was created as we emerged from the pandemic giving the melodies a glimmer of hope.
