Yanchan is a Canadian/Tamil producer, engineer, vocalist and South Indian hand drummer (Mrithangam) and music business executive from Scarborough, Ontario, Canada.
"The Scarborough Beat Tape" is his 2021 released instrumental project produced as an ode to his hometown with each song on the project corresponding to a different location in the city of Scarborough. The project surpassed half a million streams and continues to gain notoriety around the world.
