Yurby is a Dominican American Singer/Songwriter and producer born and raised in the South Bronx. Her love of music started at the age of 10 when her father convinced her to turn one of her poems into a song. Yurby fuses blues, Alternative Rock, and R&B sounds to create her own style of music. She is often been called " The Dominican Alanis Morrisette" because of her vocal range. Her new single called "Hands UP " was released on July 4th, 2019. It is a catchy 90s vibe, reggae song with a strong message behind it.
