Because of the emotional weight of the music itself, I interpreted it occurring through some sort of impossible obstacle. With impending war and climate catastrophe weighing on my mind these days, I couldn't help but let my mind wander into an apocalyptic future scenario where few survivors are left. In this video, I intentionally created it to have multiple interpretations but my personal interpretation was that the singer (Sami) has transitioned into the next life along with most of the world's population as a victim of some sort of nuclear disaster that has destroyed cities and left the air unbreathable. The source of life, clean water, is near impossible to find but those left with any hope at all must believe that it still exists somewhere. The idea is that the power of love between two souls is not limited to the elements here on Earth and in this scenario, Sami guides his earthly lover to life giving water from beyond the grave. He chooses to do this by literally singing frequencies through the ether and if she could only trust her intuition, she could hear it and be guided by it. Of course, even if she could manage to tap in to his melodic messaging, nothing is easy in the dystopian landscape she is left with and she must follow a trail of clues and natural wonders like an eclipse to achieve this. Once she does successfully find the elusive water, time itself ceases to exist and she becomes one with the energy that is the water, and ultimately her lost lover. It's not sad or tragic anymore, their frequencies have aligned and it's as if no disasters created by the short sighted lords of war have ever occurred.
