Over the somber, flute-led trap beat, the New York-based emcee opens up about how finding light in the darkness can be troublesome at times. He uses a smooth auto-croon delivery to express what’s been weighing on his mind. Elsewhere, King Kopa explains what has uplifted his spirit, which is calling on The Most High. After all, through Him all things are possible. Also, the prolific emcee questions where certain individuals are when he needs them most. But that’s alright. He’s taking notice and making the necessary changes in his life. By keeping an optimistic spirit, he hurdles through many obstacles that could’ve stunted his progress. The music video, directed by King Kopa also, finds him working hard as a mechanic. Amidst his grind, he gets a text from his Mrs, who gets a hold of an eviction notice. Without delay, he hops on a bus to be by her side. Although she’s in a sour mood, he tries to make things sweet. In the end, he’s woken up from his slumber due to another tribulation.
