Commemorating the 100th anniversary of Puccini's death, The Great Kat Violin Goddess shreds Puccini's "Mimi's Death" famous finale from Puccini’s opera "La Boheme" composed in 1893-1895. "La Boheme" is about Bohemian life with Mimi, a seamstress and Rodolfo, a poet and "starving artist". Rodolfo meets Mimi when she comes to his door to ask to light her candle. Rodolfo realizes he likes Mimi and tries to help her after she nearly faints. They fall in love. This opera is a tragedy, so Mimi has tuberculosis and Rodolfo can't afford to take care of her. She becomes deadly sick and begins coughing violently. In the finale's death scene, Mimi and Rodolfo are reunited, but she is laying in her death bed drops. Mimi drops her hand muffs and dies.
