During my moon, just a day after my birthday March 2023. I was gifted a Guitarlele by my Boyfriend, Dermot McNeill. As I sat, strumming the first basic chords I learnt. 'WOMAN' wrote itself during my cycle.

As women, we have a synchronised flow of our moon, which sometimes has this amazing synchronisation for some women who may work together in the same friendship groups or households that bleed in the same month.

Within this time our renewal of the womb and ovaries go through this emotional transition. Sometimes we don't know how to express our emotions. Maybe we may seem uplifted, happy and then the opposite spectrum of emotions whereby we enter an incubation. Aches and pains that leave us bedbound and a little understanding from those who love us can make a huge difference by supporting us, during these few days, until we can arise from the other end. 

This song vocalises all these elements as we walk hand in hand through the cycles, unifying together to celebrate this miracle from God, which creates life from generation to generation.
