Inspired by older Sci-fi movies and TV shows, things like Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy, Star Trek, Star Wars, and many others. I wanted something that felt like watching an old VHS Sci-fi TV show that fit the vibe of the song I wrote. Classic "thrown into another world and saved the princess" type of tale.
