By activating your Artist Account, you will access exclusive features and be among the first to know about new ones.
What are the basic requirements for access to a TikTok Artist Account?
To access most features, at least one song must be distributed to TikTok. The Artist tag will appear on your profile after distributing at least three songs and reaching 100 creations.
Can I use the same TikTok profile with more than one artist?
No, each artist can only be matched to a single TikTok profile. If you have more than one artist, each must have its own unique TikTok profile.
To apply for a different artist, sign out of TikTok when prompted, then authorize a different TikTok account to complete the connection.
How do I know when I have unlocked the new features, and where do I access them?
To find out the status of your request, open the TikTok app and check your inbox under system notifications. Once approved, visit your TikTok profile in the app to see the music tab and access other available features.
Why am I getting an error that my account application is under review and asking me to provide a screenshot?
If you see an error stating that your account application is under review and a request to submit a screenshot in the TikTok app, it means the application was submitted directly through TikTok.
You have two options: wait for TikTok to process the application, which can take up to 30 days, or
contact TikTok support to request cancellation of the current application.
After cancellation, you can apply through our system, which should take under an hour.
