Introduction from the artist
I'm Salem Strikes, a visual artist, producer, and writer. My song Fake I.D. was one I wrote after a toxic relationship that forced me to realize that some of us wear masks to protect ourselves, but end up sacrificing the truth of who we are to please others. This song is a promise to myself to never sacrifice myself that way, and a warning to others who find themselves living for others instead of themselves.
