The Ballad of Johnny Ringo
Wild West Ballads
Old West outlaw era (1850–1882) — Indiana to Tombstone, Arizona Territory.
Johnny Ringo (John Peters Ringo, 1850–1882) — Cowboy faction gunfighter whose arc runs from the Mason County War to Tombstone, ending in Turkey Creek Canyon. Gritty folk-country ballad: fingerpicked guitar, sparse snaps, harmonica, weathered male vocal.
