The inspiration for these songs came from the Nunggubuyu people of Eastern Arnhem Land, the Warlpiri people of the Tanami Desert, the Pitjantjatjara speaking people of the Western Deserts and the Maningrida and Milingimbi people of Northern Arnhem Land.
